CAREER INTERESTS
As a new grad, I am looking forward to starting my first nursing job. I am interested in working in pediatrics after gaining a passion for it while working at the LLU Pediatric Hospital (summer 2019) as part of a clinical course. I am also interested in working in a community health setting and focusing on patient education and preventative medicine. NICU or Labor and Delivery would be a fascinating field to work in as well.
Community Service/Outreach
Over my years in nursing school, I have been privileged to be a part of several community service groups/projects. Total Community Involvement (TCI) was a community outreach initiative started by my college in which I participated for 3 years. I also was privileged to sing in my college choir for community events. I have participated in numerous community health expos and assisted in providing reading material for a Psychiatric Hospital in Sacramento in which I had clinicals. Currently, I work as a religious volunteer at a boarding highschool and also function part-time as a school nurse.

Previous to my college experience, I was heavily involved in a touring choir/orchestra which traveled extensively throughout the Western United States and Canada. I was privileged to go on several mission trips with this group to countries such as Thailand and Mongolia where I taught English, music, and participated in several health expos.
